ReWired!

Every summer my church organizes a Sports and Arts camp for children K-5th grade. I always enjoy working on the branding for this event (see last year's here), its a chance to draw some cool cartoons! Below are some character designs, CD packaging, brochure design, and some character rejects! To help make this event a marketing success, I also designed a door hanger, outdoor banner and T-shirt (pictures not shown).

Being that this year had a Sci-Fi theme, I was instantly brought back to my days of watching "Duck Dodgers in the 24th and Half Century!". To say the least, I was pretty excited to work on the concept. Some of the inspiration I had was from movie stills of the summer blockbuster, Tron.

This is the first time I've designed CD packaging. Its fun creating a design that can be used in a variety of ways. In this case, I took advantage of the color scheme (black, neon yellow, pink and blue) to help break up the pattern.

Lastly here (See above) are some design rejects I wanted to share with you. These guys may have never left the drawing board, but they at least get to hang out on the blog...as long as they behave themselves! Thanks for stopping by! Have a comment or question? Leave one below!
